MWHF Adolescent Health Survey Summary
The MetroWest Adolescent Health Survey (MWAHS) monitors trends in health and risk behaviors in 25 communities in the MetroWest region. While many risk behaviors are decreasing, they note that “…digital media use, which is increasingly linked to less sleep, academic challenges, and poorer mental health outcomes, requir[es] additional attention to address the link between digital environments and adolescent wellbeing.” (pg. 4). Digital media use is one of the only concerning health behaviors continuing to rise, prompting a call for further action. Click below to review the trends.
